As a byproduct of this industry, I am so thankful for the foundation that my mother laid for me as it has contributed to so much of my growth. My mother once said to me “find your passion and make it your career and when you do, you’ll never spend a day wishing you were doing something else”. So here I am, entering my 20th year in an industry that I am so deeply passionate about!

I love being able to spend each day exploring my creativity and having the ability to enhance a client’s beauty. Being a hairstylist has given me a platform, both in and outside of the salon, to make a positive impact on not only each client who sits in my chair, but also to the youth who follows me on social media that may be inspired to one day take this same journey.

When I’m not in the salon (very rare..haha), you can find me with my son and daughter as they are ‘home’ for me and the reason that I work so incredibly hard. Being a single parent has by far been the hardest job that I have ever done, but it has attributed to the woman, mother, friend, and boss babe that I am today. Family is incredibly important to me and when you become a client, you become part of my world and are valued as family.

My name is Kara, and I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years. This license has given me a passionate career, planting my feet in Lakeland, FL and being blessed beyond belief with some of the best and most loyal clients ever.  

Recently I have decided to transition over to Manatee county in hopes I’ll have the same success! I specialize in blondes,  vivid colors,  and I am an Invisible Bead Extensions ® certified stylist. Education has always been important to me due to my type of work being one that constantly changes with the times.
